Fuad is a highly qualified attorney and a specialist in environmental law. He obtained his LLB degree from the University of the Western Cape in 2016 and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2018. He completed his Masters in Environmental Law in 2021 with the University of the Western Cape and focused his research on the use of criminal sanctions in prosecuting environmental crimes.
Fuad joined HSG in 2021, transferring from the Western Cape, and has quickly established himself as a valuable asset to the firm, strengthening the response to environmental matters and playing a key role in the litigation team. As head of the environmental law and litigation departments, he is dedicated to providing clients with the highest level of legal services. In 2022, Fuad also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Climate Change and Energy law and he has a keen interest in Renewable Energy and Infrastructure projects. His pursuit of knowledge and skills in these areas highlights his commitment to providing his clients with the most comprehensive legal solutions.
