DRAFTING LEGAL BILLS OF COST

We prepare bills of costs in line with the relevant Court tariffs as between Party and Party and/or Attorney and Client in both Higher and Lower Courts.

Additionally, we create bills/statements based on each attorney’s specific tariff, helping attorneys provide accurate accounts, determine Costs for security, and aid in settlement negotiations.

Our fee for drafting bills of costs is charged at 11% of the total fee component of the bill as drafted, not taxed.

OPPOSING LEGAL BILLS OF COST

Opposing a legal bill of costs is as important as preparing one. The unsuccessful party may receive a bill from the successful party and has the right to contest any charges.

Our cost consultants are skilled in reviewing and opposing these bills, leveraging their expertise in relevant case law. When opposing bills of costs, our fee is charged at 10% of the gross amount by which a bill is reduced.

ATTENDING TAXATION

Attending taxation can be time-consuming. We represent clients in both Lower and Higher Courts, leveraging our in-depth knowledge of taxation laws. We discuss final strategies with clients beforehand and send the signed allocatur on finalisation thereof.

PREPARING COUNTER-OBJECTIONS:

After receiving a bill of costs, the other side may file objections. We use our expertise in case law to prepare counter-objections, aiming to help you recover the maximum amount of legal fees.
